Gratitude and Self-Care

Gratitude is very important in a professional setting. If there is no gratitude, the environment in the work setting will be very rigid and unwelcoming. Coworkers need to express gratitude towards each other because in a professional environment, everyone works together and it is one big team. If people do not show gratitude for the work of their colleagues, people will become resentful and the quality of work can diminish because they do not feel respected.

When I am stressed one thing I do is take a break and exercise. For me, exercise is a way I can let emotions out. This strategy may not work in a professional setting because I can’t just leave my job to exercise. One thing that may work is to take a short walk. I can stop what I’m doing and take a short walk. during the day to release some stress and refocus my mind on what I need to get done that day instead of focusing on the things that are stressing me out.
